Deleting Watched programs prematurely.

Sage has been deleting programs that I have watched almost in a short amount of time after watching them... despite having plenty of free space, and not needing space for upcoming recordings.

Any ideas on things to check to resolve this?

Have you checked the log to see why its deleting them?

Do You have a limit on the amount of recordings to keep?.... or are you by any chance transcoding and removing commercials?

Neither on both of those... but I do have SageMC Video Tools installed.

You are using SageMC with an additional customization added to it, then posting in the forum for a default setup. There are too many variables going on to give you any meaningful answer. The file might be getting delted by SageTV, or it might be getting deleted by a customization -- that has happened in the past.

Any time you run into a problem in SageTV and you are trying to figure out what is happening, revert to a completely default setup, including turning off the default STV's hidden features, then see what happens.

If the issue still hapens with a default setup, use the SageTV Software forum, or contact support.

If the issue doesn't happen with a default setup, then add your customizations back in one by one until it happens again & post in the area for that customization.
