Delete and set watched not deleting recording

I have enabled the popup menu after a hitting stop. I get asked if i want to delete and set watched, etc.

When I select delete and set watched, the recording does not get deleted right away. The watched flag is set and i would like for the file to be deleted so the recorded listing is less cluttered. Is there any setting/config to make this happen? I've searched but could not find anything.

if you are running comskip (or probably showanalyzer too) you cannot delete the recording until it's finished processing it. have a similar thing happen on my setup. Delete a show; it goes away; next time I come back to the list it's still there. only when comskip is finished can I actually get rid of it.

Or if you have an Avermedia M780 and are not running the latest Sage version... for some reason that card would lock the file and it couldn't be deleted.

I just checked and comskip is disabled.

I'm using a Fusion HDTV and a Dish R5000 for recording. I can delete the file when selecting it from the recording selection menu.

Also if mplayer has it open (transcoding) then it will not delete it

I am having the same problem. When I select "Delete and Set Watched," the show is not deleted. I have to go to the list and manually delete the show. comskip is not running, nobody else is watching it, using firewire recording.

do you have the newest release version? (not beta). They fixed this problem (and for me it's worked properly without issue).
