If you drag the file and drop it on top of the TotalMedia icon, Does it play?

Post your setting in Sageproperties please...

The only thing I'm thinking is this - my HD PVR will be here Thursday so I've loaded the demo version of TotalMedia Extreme. I wonder if this is just a limitation?

Nope, sure doesn't. Just get the main TME menu.

Well if it did not pass the drop test, your setting in Sage don't matter. The problem is TME.

You could try to play from file in TME and if that works post your Sageproperty file entries for enabling Arcsoft Video Decoder (I would not enable arcsoft audio decoder).

I'm convinced there's something special about the driver that ships with the HD-PVR. Which to me is silly; they should have sample files along with a working driver one can download to make sure their system is ready before they buy a HD-PVR. Even if the output is watermarked or something. We're not trying to do anything illegal here...

yes, there is something special and it's the audio decoders. the version of TME that ships with the HD-PVR and coincidentally, the HDHomeRun, come with the additional decoders necessary to play the .ts files from the HD-PVR. The demo TME does not. I believe it's the AAC decoding that's at issue.

Well wouldn't you know I have a HDHomerun too? I hate to mess with it though as it's working so well...

Anyway, the HDPVR will be here tomorrow. I have a stupid class presentation tomorrow so I'll be at work/school all day.

You have to download the Total Media Extreme 3.5 software from the Silicon Dust website. There is a convoluted way to get the necessary serial number through the HDHomeRun software. Better off to simply wait for the HD-PVR to show up.
