Power light blinking

My HD100 has worked fine since I bought it in late december, 2007 till last week. I turned it on, but I only get a slow blinking red power light. I can not get any picture at all on the tv, only the blue background indicating no signal sent. I have checked and rechecked wiring and it is good.

I have a Vizio 47" 1080p tv. The tv works fine off the SA 8300 HD cable box on Component 2. The HD100 is on Component 1.

My question is (after reading the 10 page manual): What does the blinking power light indicate (no other lights)? I would appreciate any ideas or next step to take.

There is a reset procedure in the manual & a more involved one in the FAQ topic at the top of this forum section. I would try resetting it & if that doesn't help at least load the HD100's server list menu, then you should contact support.

Blinking Power Light

I tried both procedures. The only activity I can detect is a very slow blinking red power light. Next step?

Should I just contact support via the SageTV support page? It seems intended for the SageTV software, not STX HD100 support.

I believe the SageTV support page is for anything you buy from SageTV. Hardware and Software. If not they can direct you to the right person. I would think at this point, contact support and open a ticket.

Thanks.

Submitted a question a little while ago. Apparently, this isn't happening a lot. Thanks for your advice.
