Black screen after STV Import

I just imported the sagemc video tools .xml file and suddenly my sageTV screen just went black. Nothing seems to bring it back, including stopping the app/service. Any idea what happened or how I can unload it?

  1. Exit SageTV
  2. Open ...\SageTV\sage.properties (or sageclient.properties if using a client or running SageTV in service mode)
  3. Find the line where the current STV file is defined (near the beginning)
  4. Change the file name to SageTV3.xml for the default STV or to SageMC_169.xml for the original SageMC file.
  5. Save the file and restart SageTV.
What STV file name is listed in your .properties file before you change it? If it is the name of the video tools import file, then you accitendally loaded the file as an STV instead of importing it into SageMC. That would explain the black screen.
