It should be controlled by the options menu background setting in the theme.properties file for your current theme.

OptionsMenuColor=0x0099FF

The value is 0xRRGGBB in hex (00 to FF for each color).

Note that it will change the background for all of your options/popup menus. If you want to change the info popup separately, then you will have to dive into Studio.

Aloha,
Mike

Mike - is there a way to change the alpha value to make it more opaque ? (or is that translucent ? I mean see through !)

Thanks

Yeah, That is in

Settings >> SageMC >> Main >> Screen Specific Settings >> OSD (I think near the bottom)

Try a value of 150 or so. I agree that the default 200 is a bit too opaque.

Aloha,
Mike

Cool - i've knocked it all the way down to 100 and it looks great ! The big box i get when i press stop playback (I'm talking about live TV playback here BTW) remains solid though - is there a way to adjust that down too ?

Thanks for such a quick reply !

Tim

The stop popup transparency is hard coded to be 255. On my system, I disabled it and set SageMC to jump back to the previous menu after stopping playback. That has been working really well for me.

I can probably add a transparency setting for the stop popup for the next update. I'll take a look at it.

Aloha,
Mike

Can I change it in Studio ? or is the value coded into a jar file ?

Cheers

You can change the value in Studio, but I have already added the setting for the next release.

Eliminating the Stop popup is very easy. Just go to

Settings >> SageMC >> Main >> Screen Specific Settings >> OSD

Disable the Stop popup and enable Back on stop. That all there is to it. BTW, this is the same place where the new transparency setting will be.

Aloha,
Mike
