Sage TV partial recordings and Comskip

I've seen an interesting problem in Sage when using comskip.

I have comskip running very well in Live TV mode. It runs as a show is Live (recording). And thus, I can record a show and start watching it at 15 minutes into it and the comskip markers will be there. (Thanks to Eric for a lot of hand holding to make this work for me)..I know it wasn't that hard for others...

Anyway, this causes an interesting thing to happen. If I watch a show for say 15 minutes and then change channels, comskip is already working on that recorded file. And I do not think comskip will know to stop until it finishes the file its working on. And, I do not believe that Sage will delete that file until after comskip is finished working on it. And thus, comskip can not start working on the new show until it finishes the first.

Anybody seen this and any feedback? Ideally it would be nice if Comskip "knew" to stop working on partial shows and allow Sage to delete the partial recording. And then move onto the next show int he queue..

Thanks,

Gary Ellis

It doesn't seem to do that for me. I don't get the skip info until the recording is done. Is there something special you had to do to make it work?

There is an "is recording" field that you have to set to true in the comskip.ini file in order for it to process files that have not completed yet.
