Ripped .ts files not playing properly after upgrade
I recently upgraded to 6.4.8 and the latest extender firmware and now I'm seeing some strange behavior in my ripped HD-DVD files that used to play fine (using the beta 6.4.7 and previous extender firmware). The ripped .ts files are VC-1 1080p with AAC audio. If the .ts file starts from the beginning it will play fine. If I stop, ff, rw I'll get the circle arrow and the extender will lock up for maybe about 5 minutes. HDHR and HDPVR (also .ts) files play fine. I'm using the Arcsoft Video Decoder.
I haven't had a chance yet to rollback to 6.4.7 to see if it's a software problem or an extender firmware problem but wanted to see if anyone else had similar issues. Thanks for any help. EDIT - Downgrading the SageTV v6.4.5.179 fixed the issue. That was my previous version. Last edited by bbenkstein; 08-27-2008 at 06:52 PM.

I get the same results as you with VC1 ts files. If started from the beginning playback is fine. Stop and try to resume will not work on the extender. No other files seem to be effected with this behaviour.

I submitted a bug report and attached my server log file. Hopefully this will be resolved in the next update.
