noob questions on favorites...

ok, please help.

We have a favorite, in this case That 70's Show, that has many future airings. Some of them (most, actually) show that they are not set to be recorded. There are no conflicts. We had it set to record on any channel, then specifically on fox and the cw, with no change.

Why is this? This also happened with the olympics. (Damn, that took a lot of hd space)

Does SageTV know enough to record a show only once? I see that one of my favorites is scheduled to air 3 times this week -- How many of those will be recorded?

ok, but during the olympics, there were episodes the same night, that were on the proper channel, that wouldn't auto record. did you guys experience that?

Some of the Olympics broadcasts overnight were re-runs of earlier that day (which wouldn't record again). That might have been some of it.

Also, what channels were you recording, and did each segment have unique show title and ID#? I only recorded NBC, off our local affiliate, and everything recorded just fine (each segment had a separate ID and description).

Also, have you checked all of your settings with regard to "Keep until..." and/or such, and was your hard drive (near) full?
