DVR Options
My mother in law gets only OTA tv, and right now here "PVR/DVR" is a VCR where she records one show on the VCR and watches the other live on the tv. This allows her to watch 2 shows that are broadcasted at the same time. Com feburary her VCR will only work through her conveter but that would make setup and configuration a little more difficult if we do a double converter. She only has a dialup connection and I am looking into options for her come feburary. I would have no problem setting up a sage system for her but the dialup connection poses a problem, she is using netzero to make things a little more difficult. I am considering TIVO but then you have to get a subscription??? which can cost quite a bit just for guide info. does anyone have any ideas on what I can get setup for her with as little cost as possible?
