Whats with these things, I can't find them in stock anyplace? in stock on newegg for 5 seconds, but now poof, Are they really that great?

Why?
I managed to get a couple from newegg, thanks to there auto-notify, and am going to return the hvr1800 I was going to use. Good thing I did, Newegg was out of stock imediatly after I placed the order.
