How do I operate cyberlink HD/Blue-ray from Sage

Cyberlink has user interface to select whether to play HD or Blue-ray. How can I just use sage to watch either Blue-ray/DH without going through Cyberlink?

Without ripping the HD-DVD or Blu-Ray into an MKV, you can't. Sage does not have the necessary DRM setup within its software to play Blu-Ray discs. You have to an external Blu-Ray player outside of Sage in order for the discs to work. If you rip them to your hard drive into a mkv container then Sage can play them much like they would a DVD. I personally haven't messed with blu-ray or hd-dvd....

What's the timeline to get Sage to support DRM for Blu-Ray? Anyone know?

From what I can tell not in the near future. To play Blue-Ray they would have to pay licensing and only support secure the play back to get the licensing. (ie. no streaming of video and audio from Blue-ray content)

I use the Power DVD to play my DVDs from my PC using the External DVD feature in SageMC. I just pointed it to a shortcut for Power DVD then mapped my remote control buttons to control Power DVD with my IR Server Suite. When I hit the power button for Power DVD it shuts down and goes back to SageTV. That was the easiest way for me to do it. That way you take full control of the features in Power DVD for BDs.
