Question Commercial Skip and SageMC

Hi. I've looked through all the threads about this topic but still can't seem to get it to work. I'm trying to get commercial skip to work with SageMC. I've downloaded Comskip Monitor and gone through the set up. I then activated the "Enable Commercial Skip" feature in the SageMC enhancements.
Comskip Monitor seems to be monitoring the folders where I keep my recorded television shows (on my television I keep them in two folders, L:>recorded TV and also D:>recorded TV. I set up Comskip Monitor so that it scans and creates the .edl file while recording, and have it set to create .edl files, not .txt. files. It's creating logs in both ":>recorded TV" folders folders that, when opened in notepad, look like this...

################################################################
Generated using Comskip 0.79.76
Time at start of run:
Sun Nov 02 12:09:30 2008
################################################################
Mpeg: L:\recorded tv\ArrestedDevelopment-TopBanana-683396-0.ts
Exe ..\comskip79_76\comskip.exe
Logo: L:\recorded tv\ArrestedDevelopment-TopBanana-683396-0.logo.txt
Ini: ../comskip79_76/comskip.ini

Detection Methods to be used:
1) Black Frame
2) Logo - Give up after 2000 seconds
3) Fuzzy Logic
4) Aspect Ratio

ComSkip throttles back from -0001 to -0001.
The time is now 1209 so it's full speed ahead!

Unforunately, when I actually watch the files, SageTV isn't skipping the commercials. If it helps, my video card is a Hauppauge HD PVR and Comskip Monitor is set to scan the .TS files that that card creates.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance. I know this issue seems to have been talked about to death in these forums.

First what version of comskip are you using? Only version 80 and above support the files from the HD-PVR. Second if you are usinng one of the new versions, are edl files actually being generated?

Thats the version I'm using. Do I need both the normal Comskip and Comskip monitor installed?

or, is there an easier way/program to use to get commercial skip working in SageMC?

That version will not work with the HD-PVR Recordings. To get the version you need you will need to go to http://www.kaashoek.com/comskip/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=538 and sign up for Early Access. The version you want is currently only available through that program and is currently in testing.
