Cool DTS downmixing to stereo for SageTV HD-100?

Looks like perfect addition to downmix DTS to Stereo with JVC SU-DH1 to HD-100 without receiver to see DTS movies.
JVC SU-DH1 just $99 at B&H, when Creative DDTS-100 on ebay for $499.
Anybody use it this way?

I think the reason there weren't any opinions, is that you can get entry level receiver/speaker combos for that price that could do the decoding (see your favorite local discount store). Heck here's Onkyo's entry level refurb from Shop Onkyo for 159 (if you sign up for club onkyo) and would crush the audio coming out of your television and give you the surround sound advantage:

http://www.shoponkyo.com/detail.cfm?...il=1&ext_war=1

The other option would just to re-encode all DTS tracks into DD and be done. Period.

EDIT: I do realize that your post is about doing DTS without a receiver, but the only room this even becomes an issue where I couldn't use a receiver with the HD100 for me is the one I have hooked up in my bedroom and I rarely if ever would watch a movie in there.

paulbeers, thank you for the advice.

Actualy i need device that receive HDMI with DTS(TrueDTS/MasterDTS/MotherDTS) and convert AC3 sending output to HDMI.

My setup is very simple, I have 42" Panasonic 800 (2008 year model) plasma in the kitchen. the panasonic plasma has pair of speakers inside.
I just want to connect HD Extender to this Plasma. Currently this connected via HDMI cable, it's work nice except of DTS things!!!
I this is will resolve this...

What I will do with Onkyo speakers in the kitchen?

I have currently 3 HD Extenders installed : 2 for childs (that currently have no clue about DTS), and 1 for Kitchen.
I have also 2 HTPC SageTV Client with HD Ready 50" Plasma one for master bedroom, and one for HomeTheater room with Full HD Epson projector (waiting next model, will purchase in DEC)

with HTPC no issue with DTS!!!

Great.... *NOW* they come out with an affordable device to solve our DTS woes when the HD300 comes out. Well, better to have two choices than none.
