HD Extender won't keep changes
Not sure if I should post this here or in the Extender area, so mods please move accordingly.
I am using the latest SageMC and have applied the background patch and am currently using the nBlue theme. When I change all my menu's (I only keep the MyMenu and then create new internal screens for Guide, Recordings and the iMovies) on the main screen through the extender and then power down, the changes are all gone when i reboot and its back to the default. Am I missing a setting or something? Please let me know what other information I haven't provided so I can help troubleshoot this issue. Thanks! |

After you make any and all menu changes you need to go back into the dynamic menus and do a "File" and "Save" to save your changes.

By hitting the options on the remote and choosing the export all?

No. Wrong menu. Hit the Options button at the main menu and choose the top button. (I can't remember what it is called) and do a File Save from there. It will be from within the area where you are making changes to your menu. Menu up the left side to where the menu is File. The Save option is on the right.

Thanks Gerry! I'll give that a try tonight when i get home! By the way, is there any way (using the extender) to get lower case letters when naming your new dynamic menu? I can't seem to figure it out.

I think in SageMC if you press the Guide or Pause button on your remote it will change to lower case.

Gerry,
The guide button did change it to lower case letters and the pause pushed it out to a full keyboard interface. The save menu's worked perfectly, thanks for the help!!! |
