Can Sage get video working as smoothly as in Zoom Player?

Using Cyberlink decoders in both, Zoom Player is silky smooth when playing HD-PVR files and Sage is a little bit choppy. Since using the same decoders, I have to assume this is a Sage issue. EVR has been a great step forward; wondering if things can be better tweaked.

This is on a 3.0ghz P4, ATI AGP 2600pro setup. Using video acceleration in both apps.

Loving the EVR though... it's already a LOT better than without. Just wish I could get all the way there to smooth video and using this older PC as a client.

Sage seems to have more overhead (CPU, Dropped frames, etc) then just building a graph in graphedit.

I went crazy trying to get smooth playback with my ATI 2600XT, then switched to a Nvidia 8600 GTS and I forgot all about those problems.

I would suggest a video card upgrade, worked for me.

The EVR code is going to take tweaking. Everyone who's done it has taken time to perfect it, even Zoom Player and Media Player Classic. I have no doubt it will get done, its just going to take time
