Switching between apps?

Is it possable to create a menu item that swithes to an already running app or launch that app? I want to switch betwwen my HA touch screen app and Sage on a PC client. I use SageMC as my interface. Any advice is welcome.

I dunno about MC but you can do it with dynamic menus in the regular stv without any issues.

Also you might look at the HAL plugin, if HAL deluxe will work with your hardware you can pick up on clearance at Frys. This will give you device and scene controls inside the SageTV GUI and on your extenders.

Thanks for the reply, I saw the HAL plugin but I use HomeSeer and the two won't co-hebetate nicely. I did not know dynamic menus would work that way. Thank you.

Man do I feel stupid, One should not ask a question with out trying it out first.... Now I really see why dynamic menus are so popular.
