how do I minimize HD100 resolution switching?

I like the ability of the HD100 to automatically switch to the material's native resolution, and let my TV's deinterlacer/scaler do the heavy lifting. However, it seems to switch resolutions way too frequently, which is a PITA because it takes the TV a second or so to catch up each time. Specifically:

1) In the recordings menu, if I thumb through the recordings, the HD100 is constantly switching resolutions. Is there any way to get it to change resolutions for just playing recordings, and not while I'm in the recordings menu?

2) Live TV. The resolution switching makes channel surfing unpleasant. Is there any way to turn off resolution switching for live TV? Or any way to sort the channels so as to minimize the switching? Eg, group all SD channels together, then all 720p, then all 1080i?

Thanks,

Drew

You can turn of the preview window. I've never seen that happen with the video preview window disabled.

No, Live TV is just a recording, like any other, as far as the extender is concerned, it's just playing files like any other recording.

Thanks, I missed that in the settings. I'll try turning that off tonight.
