Black and white Sagemc?

I just put together a new computer and installed Sagetv and SageMC like I have done in the past. However this time around I am getting a black background with white text. Even the highlighting of text is white. When i press esc on the keyboard on the main menu screen nothing comes up, or I just cant see it. I try going into Sagemc themes but there is only one theme black something. Any ideas?

I did download the beta version of Sagetv. I did not download any other version first.

Do you have a ...\SageTV\net directory? If so, delete it and restart SageTV. Also did you install the latest full installation package version of SageMC (v6.3.8a)?

Aloha,
Mike

I figured it out. When I extracted sagemcfull using the built in unzipper in vista it would come up with an error saying "windows explorer is shutting down". So basically only half of Sagemc was being unzipped. I just download another program and it worked right away.

This happened to me in VIsta too. Thought it was just me. Maybe the zip file is too big???? I used 7-zip and it worked fine after that.

MeInMaui - maybe you should add a warning in your installation instructions to watch out for any generic Windows errors while unzipping.
