Using PVR-500 Euro version (PAL) in U.S. (NTSC)?
Hey all,
May purchase some dual analog tuners, WinTV PVR-500, for use in the U.S. (NTSC). However, these are the European version of the PVR-500, for use with PAL and have a different cable/sat coax input. Now, I was told I could buy a male to female PAL adapter, that would accept U.S. coax, and allow to record NTSC (U.S. cable). Can anyone confirm this is the case? I am worried even with the adapter that the tuners can only record in PAL format. Thanks It is Rev D491 on tuners.
