MVP stutters on only 480i cable recordings, fine on others
This has been happening only since i started using the 6.5 betas/RCs. It was fine before on all recordings. Here is the situation.
For all Live TV, MPEG recordings via satellite input, HD recordings transcoded, videos (such as in .avi format) the playback on the MVP is fine. But, for the ones that I would think the MVP would work best, MPEG 480i recordings direct from cable analog input, there is always a stutter on playback (mind you, this is not the case when watching these in Live TV, only if playing back from recordings at a later time). It does not matter which of the many analog encoders it was recorded from. Can't figure this one out. Anyone see this before? Thanks

I went back to 6.4.8, and the SD cable recordings now play back fine (HD, sat and videos are still fine). Andy, maybe this would be better under the beta section, since it is an issue with the 6.5s (last to not work was 6.5.7). Thanks
