STV Import: Fan Art for Default STV by TiKi (v2.2 Feb 22, 2009)

Have you seen tmiranda's Phoenix Fanart plugin for the default STV? It's an excellent replacement for Tiki's Fan Art plugin and it makes use of the Phoenix fan art directory structure so you don't have to worry about copying fan art all over the place to get it to show up properly.

Cool... 1.4 is behaving much better than 1.3. Now to convert the flat files to a directory structure.

I'm not sure how many people are still using this import, but I have posted an updated version (rev notes and link to the download are in the first post of this thread).

Version 2.4 is mostly a maintenance release. It fixes some minor issues including proper handling of Genres with illegal characters (primarily "/"), support for the alternate movie category (eg. "Film"), and support for file systems other than Windows (now use the generic "java_io_File_separator" instead of "\\" when creating file paths).

What this version does not do is to add support for the Phoenix style Fan Art folders. It still uses the original SageMC-style naming convention for Fan Art and folders. This will likely be the last version that supports the old format. If I release another version (and I may because I've got a lot of ideas that I would like to try out), it will almost certainly be for the newer Phoenix style folders.

In the mean time, if you want to use the Phoenix-style folders, tmiranda has made a port based on v2.3 of this import that adds support for the Phoenix folders and makes some other changes. You can find it here.
