HIP, Microsoft MCE Blaster and SageTV

I installed sage, installed HIP, HipWSend, exetuner.
Everthing works except when I enter a channel, the blaster sends the signal (the light flashes), but the set top box does nothing.

So it seems like HIP isnt recording or sending the right code.

I'm running windows XP Pro SP3.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Did you teach your set top box remote to HIP? (or HipWsend-I don't know which because I don't use these.)You need to teach the controls it needs to send.

Yes I did. And that seems to be the problem, it either isnt recording the correct IR signals, or it isnt sending the correct signal.

do you have the IR blaster properly positioned directly over the IR receiver?

It helps to use a flashlight to see through the darkened glass to determine exactly where the IR receiver is.
