hdhomerun able to decode qam?
only 3 or 4 channels that aren't viewable on cox cable, anyone found a way to decode the rest of the channels?
want to be able to record on my computer using hdhomerun, don't want to pay $30+ extra a MONTH just to record digital channel on their hardware...

The HDHR can only tune Clear QAM or OTA ATSC signals, so it cannot be used to record encrypted QAM channels. To record them in SageTV, you would need a cable box and a tuner attached to the output of the box. The Hauppauge HDPVR can record HD signals from the box's component output.
