Incorrect EPG Data

I've been noticing lately that Zap2it has some flaky EPG data for Oklahoma City. A couple of the channels are wrong and a few they don't even know exist. There is a STYLE channel and E! HD that they have no clue about. For the STYLE channel they have WE listed for both. E! HD doesn't even get that, they don't even exist in the Zap2it lineup.

Does anyone know the ID's for STYLE and EHD?

It also annoys me that when my channel lineup is updated only my HDHR gets the update. The separate lineup for my HD-PVR never gets them. Rather irritating when I have to manually update it for the new channels.

Try this FAQ:
My Program Guide is listing incorrect info for some channels and/or shows. I am using the built-in data which comes from Zap2It. Is there some way to see about getting this fixed?

Ok, I tried the suggestion in the FAQ and I sent in information about the missing channel.

I don't know the exact reason why but the server_update_id for my HD-PVR is blank while the one used for the HDHR has a long string in it. Both devices use the same lineup but they are separate because I record different channels with each.

Not sure what information is sent to Zap2it for lineup updates but I do notice that the epg_name for the HDHR is "Cox Communications Digital - Oklahoma City" while the one for the HD-PVR is "Hauppauge HD PVR Capture Device Component+SPDIF". Not sure if the name factors into matching the correct server_update_id with a lineup or not.

I just know that ever since I've had different but same lineups for my HDHR and HD-PVR the channel listing never gets updated for the HD-PVR. Whenever channels appear on the HDHR lineup I always need to manually update the HD-PVR channels. I've heard others complain about the same problem. There's something going on with copying a lineup that causes it not to get lineup updates.

Don't get this confused with the updates for what's on each channel. That comes through just fine. It's when Cox adds channels that the HD-PVR lineup doesn't change.

The SageTV UI should state that when copying a lineup to allow separately configurable channels for the tuners, the copied lineup will not automatically get updated if the original lineup changes. That's why you need to recopy or manually update the copied lineup -- the one with the tuner name as the lineup name.
