A SiliconDust Heads up on the HDHR

I usaully follow and test the betas for the HDHR and saw this in the latest beta:

Release 20090212beta2

Software changelog:
* Fix codec compatibility issue with WMP plugin.
* WMCTVP HRC workaround disabled if Win7 WMC is detected.
* Depreciate support for SageTV 6.3.x and older.

Errata:
The WMP plugin will not play audio-only channels. This is a known problem and will be fixed in the next release.
So as development continues and comes nearer to a production release pay attention to what version of SageTV you are running and what version of the HDHR software/firmware yiou have.

Thanks for the update, Gerry....

...although with the changes that have been made in SageTV since 6.3, I would hope most people have made the leap by now, to at least 6.4, if not 6.5. Easier plug-in management, 720p youtube options, etc....

Of course, I know there are still some people running Sage 4.x...

Server: AMD Athlon II x4 635 2.9GHz, 8 Gb RAM, Win 10 x64, Java 8, Gigabit network
Drives: Several TB of internal SATA and external USB drives, no NAS or RAID or such...
Software: SageTV v9x64, stock STV with ADM.
Tuners: 4 tuners via (2) HDHomeruns (100% OTA, DIY antennas in the attic).
Clients: Several HD300s, HD200s, even an old HD100, all on wired LAN. Latest firmware for each.
