Upgrade to 6.5 -> Artifacting and pixelation
So after upgrading to the Version 6.5 release, I am having some display issues. My three most recent recordings of American Idol suffer from a random black pixelation at the top of the picture... probably the top 50 lines of resolution. I switched to using EVR on the 6.5 upgrade. Returning to VMR9 changes the pixelation to white. Changing from the decoder that worked in 6.4 (Intervideo NonCSS for Hauppauge) to the SageTV decoder seems to remedy this. However, SageTV decoder does NOT work with my local ABC affiliate AT ALL. So that is not an option.
Any ideas?
