Strange occurance with series recording

I have quite a few series listed to be recorded and they work fine but one series which is "Star War Clone" always seem to start 5 minutes late no matter what I set it at.

At the beginning it would start recording 5 minutes late and I could see a red bar at the beginning of 5 minutes so I assume that the station kept starting the show 5 minute early then I went into series setting for that show and set it to start recording 6 minutes earlier but still it start recording at the exact same time which is 5 minute after the actual show time.

I am puzzled by this and have no idea why it ignoring the series setting and stubborning start recording late and put a red bar at the beginning of the show?

Any idea what causing this?

Thank you
Bill

The red bar indicates that part of the recording is missing for some reason. There is a thread on that issue that may help.

Other options would be to make sure you don't have another show set to record right before Star Wars that's been running 5 minutes later (though you should get a conflict for this). Another option would be that the PC is asleep and is not waking quick enough to start recording on time. Or that you're getting a service failure and the restart causes the recording delay.

You haven't noticed this in any other recording? Does it always happen on this one? How many times have you had this happen?

It only happens on this one show. It does not happen on any other shows or recording.

And no there is no other recording schduled near or around that show time. Star War is the only recording that having this issue and getting red bar, I will read that thread and see if it relate to my issue

Thank you
Bill
