Does the HD200 support a USB keyboard? If not, will it ever?

Does the HD200 support a USB keyboard? I have a sneaky feeling that is does not support it but the FAQ on this issue is not entirely clear with it's answer to this question in that it answers the question about "anything else" but doesn't directly answer the issue of a keyboard on the HD200.

Q: Can I connect a keyboard or anything else to the USB ports?

A: That depends on which extender you are using...

As the manual for the STX-HD100 says in its "Front Panel" section: "The USB2 ports are unused at this time."

And, as the manual for the STP-HD200 says: "External storage devices can be attached to the USB2 port on the the front and/or back of the unit."

I assume the inference here is that a keyboard is not supported but wanted to make sure. If it is not supported, is there any word from the Sage developers whether the HD200 will ever support a USB keyboard. It sure would make editing menus and movies titles a whole lot easier than using a remote to navigate around to do that.

I think Sage has been officially silent on this. They've just said that it (the HD200 USB ports) support an external device, without saying what else it may support someday.

This is good. Very Good in fact. To be official, I think a statement is needed. A silent statement, does not sate a lot, does it?

I'd guess they don't want to rule it out. But if they go on the record not ruling it out, many will interpret that as a promise it will be added.
