Very slow HD TV playback

Hi all,
I have Windows machine with Sage on it.
I have Placeshifter on another Windows box and the HD100 media extender.
Everything plays perfectly on both of those.

I recently got a Mac Mini, core2duo 2.0Ghz.
I have this hooked to my TV and standard video plays fine, HD movies play fine, HD videos recorded with the Hauppauge HDPVR are VERY slow.
The audio plays fine, but the video plays in slow motion.

This is the same with the client and placeshifter on the mini - both version 6.5 (downloaded today)
It is wired to the sage server, so it's not a wireless issue.

I've messed with the settings in the placeshifter configuration and can't get it to improve any.

Anyone have any idea how I can fix this issue?
It plays full screen, just in slow motion.

Thanks!

It's an 64MB Intel GM950 integrated video, which may be the problem.

The HDPVR is set for 720P...

Sure, I'll record a clip tonight.
720p movies (not recorded with HD-PVR) play just fine..
