Latest Beta now showing up correctly

I installed 6.5.13 and used it for a week. I noticed I was having problems. So I backup that directory and copied back the directory that contain 6.5.12. Then copied over the wiz and sage properties file. So I was back to 6.5.12.

But now I went to install 6.5.13 and I get thehoice to modify, repair, or remove the sage software. I tried to repair and modify, but still when I check the sage version I 'm running it still says 6.5.12.

Any way to force a full reinstall with out losing my configuration?

When you reverted to the previous version, do you mean that you simply copied the old directory? There is a sticky in this forum that covers how to install an update & save the old version for a restore if that happens to be needed & that is not how you would revert to the previous version: How to install a new version of SageTV.

You will need to uninstall the current beta before reinstalling it. I'm not sure because I never did this, but you may need to copy it back into place for it to uninstall correctly; or it may uninstall OK the way you have it.,
