mailcheck.log.2009-04-11-PM

I have numerous mailcheck files in my sage folder, yet I have no email setup in sage.

The files contain:

What's causing this problem, any idea?

This is logging that is done by the phoenix api and/or the batch metadata importer. It doesn't have anything to do with e-mail. Stuckless switched over to this method of logging in recent builds.

Aloha,
Mike

This is logging, comming from the metadata tools. What version of the metadata tools are you running? I had an issue with the caching in the 2.0 build (which produced this error), but i thought I fixed it in the 2.1-2 build.

For now you can remove your cache dir in the root of the sagetv folder.

The reason that the mailcheck log is being used is because bmt and phoenix use log4j. If log4j is configured, then we just re-use the existing log file. I'll probably post some instructions on how to configure log4j, in case people want to change how things are logged. I think that mailcheck is installed with sagemc (or another plugin).

I beleive I am running the latest version, but how can I tell for sure?

I just checked my cache folder and there is 9300 files in there, I've deleted them all.
