Cannot Enable Fanart, please help

Guys I am trying to get things set up so I can use some of the custom interfaces you guys have come up with but I have a # of issues.

The first being enabling fan art

The Geektonic guide says to do

Settings>SageMC>Main>GlobalUI Options>Display>

I DO NOT have these options, I don't even have settings. I have setup but that is it.

I am totally confused.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Greg

To do this, after installing the full SageMC installation package, go to

Setup >> Detailed Setup >> Advanced and select 'SageTV Application Package'

Scroll down and load SageMC_169.xml.

Personally I would recommend that you wait to play with the fanart stuff until it has had a chance to stabilize. We are still working through some bugs and performance issues.

Aloha,
Mike

Well there is my problem as I do not have that choice(i.e. SageMC_169.xml)

Greg

**EDIT - Ok I found and download the SageMC_169.xml however when I follow the instructions above to load it I get the error Failed to load Sage ... Fall back to standard

Just to make sure we're clear. SageMC is not the same as SageTV. It is a 3rd party replacement for the user interface. It must be downloaded and installed separately.

Just got it!!!

I was an idiot and did not extract to the right place.

I now have SageMC up and running, YEAH!!!!

Now to get the other parameters straight so I can use the AMIS plugin (let's hope that goes a little smoother (prays))

Thanks
