Disk speed test

Anyone have a utility for testing HD I/O speed?
Are all Win/XP Pro SATA disk installs shown in the BIOS as IDE drives??

I use HD Tune. Works great for me.

DiskWriggler also works well. It's a free tool and itt comes in Unix and Windows flavors.

IOMeter is arguably one of the better ones. It allows testing things such as multi-user random access.
