Check video information on playback.

I have two HTPC systems. They are separated by a wireless B connection(which is why i'm not using sage in client server)

Each system has the other as a video source. A common problem is that Sage will find a video on the other system when its not finished recording and it stores the length of the video at the time if found it.

If I try to play this video I can watch it fine as long as I do not FF or rewind. If you try it gets totally lost and the only option it to start over from the beginning. A forced scan will fix it but because of the wireless B connection that does not work to well.

Could a change be made to have Sage verify the file length before it starts playback?

I can't speak to the particular problem that you're having, but do you know that wireless-n bridges have come down in price quite a bit? You can get a couple WNHDE111 bridges for about a $100 now.

The newwork speed is not the issue(wireless G now)

If it see's the file on scan it sticks with that time till the next scan.

Is there a way to make sage scan the video files more offen?
