My Videos - thumbnails slow refresh!
Just built a new SageTV server, replacing my previous one running ver 6.3.9.
Currently running: - SageTV 6.5.9.204 - Java 1.6.0_13 - SageMC STV 6.3.9 - WinXP Pro I currently have 50+ ripped SD DVD's in the My Videos category, they are on a seperate drive. OPS/Sage are on a small 80GB drive. I add the thumbnail artwork using IMDB or DVD Profiler. As on my previous build this works well. The issue arises when I enter "My Videos" the normally displayed "thumbnails" are preceded by a "(Windows default) DVD image". The same behaviour is on my MVP and HD-200. It also shows under the standard STV as well as MC. Increased java heap to 512, changed any setting that might be associated with this - no joy. HELP this is driving me to drink - MORE!!!!

You can also try just deleting all import directories and then re-adding the import directories. I found this fixed my slow loading issues awhile back.

To follow up!!
Gerry, Thanks for the reminder!! - re: "Timeout and playback OSD" fix. Changed the values and yess thumbnails pop up vre quickly - THANKS. OTOH I don't remember the Windows "default" DVD/CD Image displaying prior to the thumbnails. Granted its less than a second! I may try "paubeers" suggestion. Thanks to both of you......
