SageTV FSE Loses Focus under Vista

Ok, I had this problem under XP and I thought that this wouldn't be a problem once I migrated to Vista and yet it's happening again! The problem is that after a couple of hours of playing live tv, Sage loses focus and minimizes to the task bar. While I find it annoying, it's tolerable for me but this has a LOW MILAF (mother in law acceptance factor) and since she is baby sitting my son and has no PC experience this is an unacceptable issue.

I'm guessing that some program is trying to update itself but that is only a guess. I don't know if this is an FSE/video card driver issue but I need FSE if I don't want to see tearing at the top 1/4 of the screen during high resolution playback. So I'm at a loss as Vista has no Tweak UI and I can't find a solution online for this problem. Anyone else dealt with this problem under Vista and solved it?

Have you tried using EVR? you shouldn't be getting any tearing with it. If you are, then there must be some problem with your video drivers, as EVR is supposed to automatically sync up with the refresh rate for screen updates, preventing tearing. I know I certainly haven't had ANY tearing since switching to EVR. either way, FSE shouldn't be required anymore.
