Font question

I seem to have a knack for missing functions in the API documentation, but I've looked pretty hard for this and cannot find anything.

Fonts come out differently depending on the client environment- Windows, Extender, or MacOS.

Even specifying a font face, style, and size, and having identical UI resolutions (960x540) fonts can appear radically different between the different environments.

As such, I'm not sure if the fonts being rendered are the same ones. Is there any way in the Sage API to query the available fonts, or check if a font specified in an STV has been remapped to something else?

Also, in the same vein, there are a lot of free fonts available on the internet. Is there any way to add fonts to Sage in a cross-platform way- i.e. drop them someplace in the Sage directories and then simply use them in an STV?

Thanks
Ikarius

Not sure about your other questions, i just stick with Arial ... but I've never seen this particular phenomenon IF I am using the same UI resolution (960x540). This is with Windows Client, Windows Server, and HD200. I do all my coding at 960x540 and then check it at 640x480 for those 4x3 people.... I can't say anything about MacOS. I have noticed though that when the resolution is different on the client or run something full screen that the fonts are rendered differently, and the proportions to the rest of the UI are all off... and yes its frustrating... not sure what we can do about it though.
