Question custom conversion - audio only

I am in the process seting up sagetv to record radio New Zealand (about 50hours worth a week) using a pvr500, av inputs, a freeview satellite receiver and epg from reven’s xmltvnz.

The plan is to input a picture from another source and then remove it during the conversion process.

I would like to use JREKiwi's auto compress plugin to create a custom format for converting to audio only, preferably to wav format but mp3 will do.

Could anyone provide an example of a sagetranscoder conversion command line for audio only that i could add into the auto compress plugin.

Ie. transcoder/formats/mp3.....

Thanks

Anne, I've sent you an email but basically,

f=wav;MCompressionDetails=[bf=aud;f=pcm_u8;ch=2;]

A slight alteration to John's formula

f=wav;[bf=aud;f=pcm_u8;ch=1;]

and it is now working - thanks John

edit: this also worked - f=wav;[bf=aud;f=mp2;sr=48000;ch=2;bsmp=16;br=384000;]

Question

Hi

I'd prefer the quality of the recordings to be wav PCM 24 bit stereo.

How do i change this 'f=wav;[bf=aud;f=pcm_u8;ch=1;]' to PCM 24 bit stereo format?

Thanks

Anne
