place shifter blanks out when i try to connect

good afternoon.
I have a strange problem. I cannot get the sage TV to load through placeshifter. I get the log on screen , but when i connect - the Sage window pops on then off in a millisecond.
I have changed nothing on either machine since install, no new routers. It all worked fine a few weeks ago.

the only change was the addition of a wireless G3 card (used for work), however even connected with LAN (99% of the time) i still get the fault.

I have double and triple checked all known settings, they all look fine. Tested placeshifter connections through setup on main Sage, everything loks fine. i even un and re installed placeshifter , created a new account, and still it just kicks me right off after i log onto the server.

Any suggestions as to my next step(s) ??

You checked your router's port forward settings? Sometimes, the setting in my router to open the port will uncheck itself for some weird reason (Dlink DIR-655). It happened just yesterday.

Gentlemen. It seems my problem was a faulty 3d acceleration setting. You can adjust before you attempt to log onto the placeshifter account.
