SageMC and mouse

I'm about to install SageMC.

But reading that it should not be used unless you use a remote to control Sage.

I have SageTV installed on WHS, and so far I only use SageTV on laptop/PC, controlling with mouse.

- Is SageMC just trouble then?

- If I buy HD Theater, can I run SageMC on the HD theater/TV, and stock-UI on laptops/PC's?

You can still use it on your laptop its just that you'd need to use the arrow keys to navigate the menu's. Too be honest I haven't seen where it says you can't use a mouse but I haven't been keeping up with all the latest SageMC developments.

If you buy an HD200 you can use it just fine with SageMC or the stock UI if you choose to do so. Each client PC or HD200 can have different UI's.

And no SageMC isn't just trouble......Its a damn fine piece of work

In addition to revising the keyboard commands for SageMC, you might also want to check out either Touchscreen Controls for SageMC v1.3 or Toolbar For SageMC v1.3

I use SageMC on my main Sage server and I use it with the mouse all the time. It is definitely not troublesome. FYI, you can click in the upper left hand corner of most screens and it will take you back to the previous one.

Got it working pretty nicely using keyboard/mouse.

Have figured out most keyboard shortcuts, but cannot find an easy one-click/one-press way to show the program guide using keyboard/mouse?
Does it exist a keyboard-command list somewhere?

Ctrl+G is the only way I know. I mapped one of my mouse buttons to output a Ctrl+G command so that's how I got it to work with a one-click.
