Can I install PlayOn on the same machine as my SageTV server?

I have a Core Duo 3.0Mhz.

Lots of RAM (8GB) and lots of drive space. It runs Windows 7 64-bit.

Anyone doing this on the same box?

I have PlayOn running on my Sage "Server" with no issues. Both the Sage and PlayOn service are up at all times. Running XP Prof with 4 GB and a Quad-Core (each core is 2.4 GHz) Dell i530 with no issues. I only access media via a couple HD100's. This is also my "general" usage machine (email, web browsing, and such). But - I am a light "general user", more or less...
I can watch vidoes on the HD100 thru the PlayOn plugin with OTA shows recording without a hitch.

I run both as well...... on my WHS machine even. So there shouldn't be a problem as long as the computer has enough power to handle Playon. Install it and run through it's speed tests to make sure your processor and internet connection can handle everything.

Speed tests on CPU and network both showed "max" so I tried it.

Seems to be good...but then again I'm not recoding two HD shows yet while trying to watch HULU.

We'll see.

Recoding HD shouldn't even make much of a dent in your CPU usage anyways
