Christmas gift?
Dear Santa, as Xmas time is approaching,
I let you know my only wish:

Can you give me the ability to rename
a media file within SageTV, please?

I think you can rename any file except for TV shows.

And if you're willing to live on the bleeding edge, you could even rename TV recordings and relink the airing info using the latest SJQv3 beta.

Do you mean I can have a "rename" command popping-up when I right click (or in any other way) on a recording (manual, timed or else) or on a video file in the library?

I searched the Sage pdf manual but with no luck.

Do you mind to better explain what you mean?

I've always been living on the bleeding side (my music player of choice is Foobar2000 i.e.) but I'm looking for a wife-friendly solution (at least after I've done some work behind the curtains): do you have one?
