New vista install problem
I tried searching but didn't come up with anything, so sorry if this has been answered before. I just finished upgrading my server and figured I would upgrade to vista at the same time. I got everything installed and running,
but when I try to watch anything on the extenders (3x HD100 and 1x HD200) I get an exception error and can not watch anything. This happens with my media
files as well. I am able to watch tv fine on my laptop and on the server just not
the extenders. I tried reinstalling sage but that didn't help at all. Please help

edit - figured it out, I had the lan connection set to public, changed it to private and all is good now.

Have you opened the ports on your firewall? TCP, and UDP.... 31100, and 31099 I believe.... allthough, Im not at home, and I can't remember which one was UDP, and which one is TCP.

Did you list the appropriate ports? I thought that they were 7818, 42024, and 8270...????
