Help with Win7 and Placeshifter/Client

I am having a bit of difficulty with a placeshifter and client on Win7. I might not completly understand how things are suppose to work so maybe some one can help me out.

1st a little info on my htpc with the placeshifter & client on it.

its an nvidia ion with the atom 330 dual core proc in. Win7 32bit with 4 gig ram installed. 1 330gig HD via sata. Wired network. and hooked up to a pioneer Prox30HD display, 1080I 1722x972.

All drivers are the latest and I use k-lite codex for decoders.

Im not sure if the display I use is causing problems but hopefully someone can shed some light on my issue.

The issue is win7 switching to windows basic, and I am only able to play my video files using the upper left portion of my screen. Its as if it is limited to a smaller resolution when it goes to play a video file.

When I first enter sage TV in the menu function, it is full screen and not limited, only when it actually begins playing the file will it switch to basic, display the video in the upper right corner while the rest of the screen is black. If I go to the menu after being in full screen, the menu will still act as if it can use the full resolution, as it does not display all options and at a bigger size.

1st bump im sure
