Help with Harmony 700?

I'm having trouble getting the harmony 700 remote setup to work with SageTV (6.5).

In sage - what should I set the remote to in setup?
In logitech software - what device should i set for the media center?

Thanks

I am using the Harmony 700 with Sage TV and everything works just fine. My harmony configuration consists of Sage TV as "Media Center" using a HT-200, my audio receiver and then Panasonic TV. Harmony had all of the codes to operate SageTV software. In my case I am using a usbuirt to change channels on the set top box. What is you configuration?

The harmony remote is not going to work out of the box. You need a compatible MCE IR receiver connected to your sage box.

Thanks.

I'm using an old firefly remote receiver (which works fine with my old harmony). When I try to use the HT-200, the logitech software doesnt seem to recognize it and then asks if I have a remote for sagetv, if i say yes, it wants to learn the codes. since my old harmony is dead, that is not an option. ;(

I have an old MCE receiver around somewhere, i'll give that a try.

Is there a list somewhere of the various SageTV devices to use with the various IR receivers?

Your problem might be the HT-200. It's actually called STP-HD200. I know it's in the Logitech database under Media Centers or HTPC (can't remember exactly which) because I added it to my 880.

STP-HD200 does not seem to work. I replaced the old ir reciever with a usb-uirt, and sage recognizes that, but with STP-hd200, sage does not recognize any of the remote commands.

I can reprogram sage to use the remote, key by key - which works, but i'm sure i am doing something wrong here - that their should be a model in the logitech database that has all the correct commands to send to sage.

I have seen various references for models ...

SD100,
STP-HD200,
STX-HD100

the faq here (http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...ead.php?t=6282) lists the last two, but gives no indication of when you should use which - is their no better documentation?
