Network Mapped Drive as Video source
Hello,

Is it possible to create an import directory to a mapped network drive? When I try, STV does not see the mapped drive, so I thought there might be a work around?

Oh yeah, if I click on network when browsing for a directory, I see the PC that I'm looking for, but the share is not displayed even though I have plenty of permissions to it.

You have to use UNC paths if you run Sage as a service because drives aren't mapped for services.

I've tried typing the UNC path but I get the message below.

The directory \\server\share does not exist. Would you like to creat it.

To use UNC paths, the SageTV service must log in as a user with network permissions. The default user (called LocalSystem) does not have such permissions. This user login is something you have to configure in the SageTV Service Control applet.
