I wasn't using the SageTV Service on my main HTPC so when I changed that value in sage.properties, it changed it not only for my HTPC, but also all the extenders I use to connect, most of which wouldn't display properly because the font was too big.
I had to start using the SageTV Service (which causes me other issues but I can work around those) and then change the value in sageclient.properties which then changed the font size on my main HTPC but left my extenders alone.
