subtitles
Hey I'm just wondering how do I get subtitles to show up in videos I play through SageTV?
I cant find an option to load subtitles anywhere! -SageTV v6.3 (just upgraded today from v5 which I was never able to load subtitles from either)

Sage can play embedded subtitles that are in DVDs or embedded CC that may be recorded from TV programs. Sage can't natively display any external subtitle files.
2 ways that I know that you get external subtitles to work is to either have your subtitles in .smi format and use JREkiwi's closed caption plugin, or install VOBSUB on your computer and let it display your subtitles (more formats than just .smi). But with VOBSUB, you have no control of the subtitle through Sage, you have to manually control VOBSUB.
