Handling multiple movies with the same title

I have a couple movies that have the exact same title. When I import them, it shows up as a folder that says it contains 2 files.

What's the best way to handle these?

I rename them with the year. The Box 2010

Ha, I do the same thing The Box (2010).avi. And do the same for the metadata in BMT if you use fanart.

Ha, that's exactly how I've been doing it for past year, I just was wondering if there was an easier way.

If it's any concellation MyMovies handles them fine if you plan on using that port once it is released , but other than that the renaming sounds like the best way around it.

I've been following your progress and updates on it somewhat. I've tried every movie oriented stvi and thus far, AMIS has been my favorite. I can't wait to try MyMovies. considering AMIS is no longer supported, I've been looking for a new way to view/manage my movie collection. Any estimate on a public release date?
